Forum Rules [Updated 12/21/2016]

MAIN RULES OF THE FORUMS

Please respect your community. Respect each other as you all enjoy the same thing – The Game.

We encourage open and friendly discussion of the game and the Community. Moderators and Staff have final decisions on all matters, and are here to make sure that the Community remains a friendly, fun place appropriate for players of all backgrounds, ages and groups.

It is the forum member's responsibility to stay up to date on forum rules and to honor the behavior outlined.

PURPOSE OF THE FORUMS

These forums provide an area for constructive player discussions of the game. It also allows players to
help each other identify bugs and issues, and help each other reproduce and resolve them.

These forums are not the most direct way to contact support. If you’re having an issue with your game and you need direct assistance, please tap on the FAQ/Support tab within the game.

CHANGES OR IMPROVEMENT

Please make sure to stay updated on these rules by reviewing this page from time to time.

SET RULES

This is a private board. As such, decisions made are final.
We reserve the right to remove any message board content without notice for any reason.

Rule 1: Responses to rule violations
Violating these rules will result in warnings, either formal or informal, suspensions, banning, or other sanctions.

Rule 2: Respect other users on the forums
- Do not make attacks or insult other users, either in the forums or through private messages. Disagreements and debates are fine, but don’t make it personal.
- Do not attack groups. This includes professions, races, religions, sexual orientations, genders, incomes, or even vague groups like “you people.â€‌
- Do not use ill terms which are offensive to groups, do not “flameâ€‌, “troll.â€‌ or “hazeâ€‌.

Rule 3: Respect the forum purpose and structure
- Make your posts in the appropriate forum.
- Please use the Search function. If a relevant thread already exists, please post there instead of creating a new thread about the same topic. Duplicate threads will be closed to keep the forums orderly and easy to navigate.
- Keep off-topic posts in the off-topic forum.
- Don’t start discussions about games that are not ours.
- Do not cross-link to other message boards or websites unless approved by a moderator.

Rule 4: Respect the law
- Do not post anything illegal under U.S. law, or encourage other users to break the laws of the U.S. or their country of residence.
- Do not encourage users to break terms of service. This includes giving information about how to find scripts, exploits, or cheats, as well as arranging to buy or sell accounts or virtual goods.

Rule 5: Respect the audience
Think about who you're talking to. Users may be as young as 13 on these message boards, and may be male or female, and from countries across the globe.
- Keep your language civil. Profanity is frowned on.
- Do not post Adult Material, inappropriate graphic sexual content in any format, or links to sexually explicit sites.
- Do not post graphic images or explicit descriptions of violent acts.
- Do not use an avatar or signature that could offend other users. They have to look at it a lot.

Rule 6: Respect privacy
- Do not post any private emails or private messages unless you have the explicit permission of each person involved in the exchange.
- Do not post private communication between customer support, members, moderators, or administrators on these forums, or anywhere else. (This include support ticket responses)
- Do not post any information covered by a non-disclosure agreement or beta testing agreement. Even if you somehow have inside information about our competitors, for legal reasons we don’t want to hear it.
- Do not post Facebook information about other forum users.
- Do not post any private information about other users.
- Do not post in-game information in an attempt to have other players attack your target. Be careful to not cross the line into bullying.

Rule 7: Do not spam
- Do not post repeatedly about the same topic.
- Do not spam users on the forums or through private messages.
- Do not start a thread without actual purpose.
- Do not start a thread about a news story or article unless you make it clear what the story is about, and offer your own opinion to start a discussion.

Rule 8: Respect your account
- Do not share your account information with other individuals. You will be held responsible for any rules violations that occur under your account.
- Do not create new accounts or use other tricks to avoid suspensions or bans.
- Do not create �sock puppet’ accounts – multiple accounts created just so that you can agree with yourself and make it seem like your ideas have more support than they do.
- Never include your e-mail address or any other personal information in posts.

Rule 9: Respect the Moderators
- Do not post using the color red. This color is reserved for moderators.
- Do not impersonate moderators. Do not claim to speak for the moderators.

Rule 10: Respect the decisions of the moderators
- The moderation teams reserves the right to warn, suspend, or permanently ban users judged to be acting against the spirit of the rules, even if the user is following the letter of the rules.
- Do not argue with moderators about moderator decisions. You can disagree with a moderator’s opinions, just like any other poster, but when they post moderator actions in red text, it is considered final.
- Moderators have no access to your game account. If you have an issue you must contact customer service.

Generally, BE NICE. There is nothing wrong with being nice to each other.

    Mikehunt hurts me..

    Okay so there this guy he's been hitting my empire mates everyday for 4 months! He hits down gets little to no bp and just does this to be a huge prick. I know I know this is a pvp game but he's followed me to my new empire now he's hitting them too. I want to make a case to PA for harassment and I've blocked him but I stupidly posted on his wall now he has a link to hit me FOREVER. So if anyone has his info or sees this douch pls post in the forum because I've just lost all hope. People bounce him around 1200 defense then he stops hitting when he loses too much.

        My mini is bsi and will never bounce him as an assassin/ my main is heavy weapon hybrid build just reaching 800 defense i don't see how fp will help me. I just want his ally code so some of my other empire mates can farm him back

            Lol. I'm sorry but the "I want to make a case to PA for harassment" made me chuckle.

            And FP will help if you get the necessary amount to power level and pad your atk/def stats high enough to the point where you can bounce/beat him. (that seemed like a run on sentence like a mother f***er.) Soooo....

            Spending some cash = problem solved.

            PS - based off your screen shots... that's not what I would consider "farming". But then again it seems like the general consensus is one hit every two days is farming so, never mind me.

                No it's several people in my empire 2-4 times a day. I just want his ally code so I can pass it off to high level players I know. He actually could be on this forum b/c he just hit me a little while ago. I really don't want to spend fp just to bounce one player no matter how satisfying it would be. I'll slow play and take the hits. I'm rank 19 so I know I'm gonna be farmed but this guy is phsycotic. Honestly what is the benifit?

                  Wow that is some dedication, to be honest though like everything else in this games its probably just in his routine. He probably doesn't even think about it anymore and when you changed empires he probably thought cool a nice update with a new emblem! lol idk dude I would try begging. I'd be weary though you probably angered him by making this thread ahahhahaha

                    Damn, I didn't want to comment on any of your stuff when I first saw you posting but you provoke people. Plain and simple. You're insulting and disrespectful.

                    You are the one person in-game 200 levels below I'll actually hit when I'm close to leveling and have too much stam. That's saying something because anyone who knows how I play knows I do not hit lower than 50 levels (100 if warring with empire) but you, you deserve every hit I still have SS which I won't post unless wanted. You never apologised even when I gave you the chance nor did you show any sign of remorse for what you had said.

                    Mikehunt farms people who insult him over the game and most players who are on his grudge list are there because you give him a link. When you're new you probably don't realise this.


                    PS. If you gave me XP I would farm the shit out of you.

                      Im not trying to insinuate anything here at all but what ive noticied is that people who cry victim and whine on the forums usually turn out to be the aggressor getting pwned.

                        Okay i agree ive seen it happen in game all the time but not the case here. My friend was just going down the battle list and hit this guy and lost so naturally Mr. Hunt hit back nbd right? Then he kept hitting and kept hitting so my friend posted on his wall asking him to please stop. Then the empire farming began he would hit all he knew he could win and if he lost he would not hit anymore. I got upset after trying to reason with this asshole and posted on his wall. Look at his wins its obvious that this guy is just padding his stats. I don't hit people repeatedly if i can help it and thats not the way my people work either.

                          So doom machine its good to see you on the forums as well. I tried to be cool with you even offer some cash for help with my problem. Sorry I came on so strong obviously since you know mike you could sympathise with my frustrations.. We tried to be nice to mike and polite and i tried to appeal to a sense of reason with him as well but again knowing him and his playstyle (that of a coward who doesn't even participate in EvE) he has no sense of honor or integrity.

                            As requested, by you. I'm not going to claim I'm not rude because I can admit at times I'm a dick but this is more of a call out. You play the protagonist when actually you're the antagonist. You'd be better off not posting here asking for help when you were the one who dug the hole, now you're just digging deeper.

                            Btw I'm not doom, I'm Captain and have been since the start of this game.
