I went from 511 points to 298 in 2 hours, and that's while I was actively using tokens. I'm fairly certain that I'll be down to 0 given the 6 hours that I will not be active.

As more powerful players rank up, things will stabilize. You'll find it much more calm by tomorrow.

This... There's 2 big pushes in every castle age arena and they both last 24hrs... Day 1 and closing day of arena. Day 1 push will tell you how bad closing day will be... If top player has 10k points by end of day 1 expect closing to put him at 30k minimum

This does not make sense. I played since the event started and I can only sit at rank 5 as a lvl 145 pvp build. Whenever I rank up, I will get beaten to rank 5 again because my lvl is low and others see me as easy bp. So even if I play non-stop or spend a lot fp for the whole event, I still cant get a better rank. This event is basically the playground for the lvl 200+ and those under 80.

Damn you... It's a tight group at the bottom of the totem pole... As the even progresses it will widen and widen.. But till then people like you are going to get dumped on

The top is by people that are spending real money. You are not going to stay in Rank 8 without staying active and getting lucky at times with someone that was Beaton down.

No question that lower levels are cannon fodder whenever they hit Rank 7 or 8. With only 15-25 tokens at a time, I don't want to waste my time looking for a high ranked equal, but if one appears I do go for it. I'm getting blasted by 700-1300 people. It is part of the event.

Bank your cash quickly when doing jobs, don't try and to build a big building, think hard before starting an expensive new job. Just realize you now have 2 places to worry about being hit.

-For Ranks: This is a tournament style event. If each event was the same it would be boring. Percentile will be used for Arena to determine rankings. This ties in to the set targets for prizes. This is just a different sort of event, geared for PvP players who want to compete and not as a progression based event. The player base sets the bar for what they think should rightfully determine the prizes.
-There's a trade off for high health guys. The high health guys will deal less damage to you(also requiring more tokens for them), and have less ability to win fights.
-Brackets will likely change for next arena. Right now there are 2 level brackets, next arena will likely have 3.
-1 point per win might be feasible in the next arena but had some potential abuses that we didn't include it in this arena.
                  1) agreed ranking is percentile based in this kind of event. I hope it stays in this event only as u have lost a lot of player that will willingly participate the next time for it.

                  2) no matter your excuse on the health aspect the points are rewarded on execution and the dmg difference upon experimenting is not that much and it still takes up valuable token resources to kill a high health player while the high hp player can easily kill me using lessor tokens almost all times.

                  3) there was never a chance for abuse in the point per win. Ca has it, how is it then not corrected there? Simple thing would have been to give one point per win and bonus for x. To stop the abuse that you think might have occurred simply lock the points gained up to two ranks lower or one rank lower as u already have done for execute.

                  4) healing after execution should be like normal healing. If one gets 1token per 5 min why is healing almost instantaneous?? Is causing guys to kill same opponent almost on a regular basis.

Please consider the suggestion given by the community seriously. Hope the next event is better planned. Cheers.

I think Mist is speaking for every player.
I think the reward difference should be different from each bracket on the next event just as it is now for those up to lvl 80.
What you guys dont understand is that u made lower lvls believe they had a chance at finishing at rank 8 if they were active enough, strong bsi and or if they paid for refills. But its not even possible. The Event battle list should have at least been the way the regular battle list is. Put people of ur lvl and near ur lvl in front of you and let the strongest win.
Like a fighting match, u cant put a lightweight against a heavyweight and say its fair game. Separate people by their weight class and let the best win. Reward accordingly. The higher lvls need bigger guns, ok. medium lvls need medium guns(rewards). And Im just talking about Brackets, I think Mist and the others said enough about all the other improvements this event can make. CUSTOMERS ARE ALWAYS RIGHT. You guys are a bussiness you should know that. Its not like people are making ludacris requests, they are valid and expert request and advises coming straight from those playing this thing all day everyday and paying hundres to thousands. Maybe it will take more time to make an event having to make more brackets and rewarding fairly for each but at least it will be a better one. This event is as if EvE would have Legend and bronze only brackets. A lot of empires wouldnt stand a chance in growing their players class and a lot would be frustrated and angry at the system. Thats how we feel right now even with regular duel in the game. I shouldnt be getting hit by lvl 700s right after getting a hard earned shiny badge, and on top of that getting win loss ratio messed up. Im strong for my lvl and am not moving up a rank because im just going to become a target for players 500lvls above me, ruining my record ratio which so far I still care for.More brackets for ingame and events pls. Oh, and make stuff cheaper, for Gods sake we arent all millionaires!

It is possible what isn't possible Is you guys getting into top 100 and such. If my math is right it'll look like this

                      1: 100-87
                      2: 86-74
                      3: 73-61
                      4: 60-48
                      5: 47-35
                      6: 34-22
                      7: 21-9
                      8: 8-0

These are percent of game population
This is being generous.. I'm thinking it is more like 1% if that

I'm both impressed and shocked that this event isn't a direct money grab (the amount of the amount pnts lost for getting ex'd, really inhibits overall token booster sales). Kudos on rewarding the biggest spenders with this event, I think it's pretty cool (even though I'm not doing too well, since I'm not among them).
I think this event should make more appearance, but also think the suggestions given in this thread are a good way to enhance the fun, for the majority of the players.

                            Re: Suggestions for next arena.

I personally like the event even though I am only lvl 44. I do notice that I am being killed by lvl 90+ folks and I have noticed in my news screen that I got executed 3 times in a matter of 17 minutes. I am not sure how that happens but I can not possible keep up with that. I dont get tokens fast enough to offset that much attacks. At lvl 44 I have 233 stat points in defense and 100 in attack so I can deal with my lvl and those within 10 or so lvls of me but I can not deal with those that are 2-3 times my lvl. It would seem that until you hit a gauntlet similar to the lvl 300 in castle age that you should stick to those close to your lvl. Yes, I know, this might sound like I am whining cause I am getting hit by higher lvl players but that is not completely the case I just think the ground should be a little more lvl. An maybe make the health regen as fast as the tokens so that you have a fighting chance.....I currently have 80 executions and been executed 86 times....I was keeping up until that last little romp when I got hit 3 times in a matter of 17 minutes. Oh Oh Oh and also is there a way to take these losses out of our stats cause mine was killer until this event.

That is it for now....I think

One last suggestion which I hope u will take seriously. Please. Please do not make events longer than 5 days max. Your previous events were spot on perfectly balanced for frenzied fun and mayhem.

Arena is a very draining event, making it more than 5 days is very stressful. The fun and mayhem becomes boring and aggravating after awhile.

I must congratulate you for not making it the month long event that is the horror in ca. Please make this one change next time. Cheers and than you for reading the suggestions.
