  • Crates

A more user friendly algorithm could be implemented when purchasing crates, and by this i mean a higher sucess rate on better lieutenants once an X ammount of crates have been purchased.
By this I mean (if talking in percantages) percentage of getting an epic rises from 0.02% to 1% after has bought 10 of those crates. (this is just an example but you get the idea)

This allows users which do spend more money on the game to have better luck rather than it being based on a static set of probabilities which I think is unfair, considering the users who do spend money are the reason the game is still up and running today. But it also does not destroy the market as the top tier prizes are not gauranteed, just improved chances.

(the rates should stay hidden and probably even randomised rates eg: player buys x ammount of crates so increase % by 0.02 - 0.05 percent.)

Also another alternative would be a improved special crate which for example gives users a 50% chance of getting a rare/epic lieutenant, but costing considerably more than average crates, maybe even something like 250 FP so it is not abused (unsure what your statistics are on average user in-game purchases but you can base it on that)

Not sure if any of this has been suggested or not, but i think these would be great additions.

    Re: Crates

Thanks for the reply, and I think it would be better for the odds to stay the same (with some changes such as this), considering a wider variety of lieutenants are constantly being released, so there will never be a saturated card, it will always be switched up.
And the increasing % would of course return to default once a player has got a lieutenant of epic/rare value, then they can try the process again or maybe even, the more lieutenants someone gets if this was the algorithm, the % increase the next time they buy it gets lower. (another option but unsure about that)

      Re: Crates

50$ for a rare and 100$ for an epic should be the standard. When you purchase these packages they need to come with a voucher for the corresponding rarity.

It's absurd that you spend 100$ and don't get an epic in this game.

Screw the RNG. Some things need to be defined not everything needs to be up for chance or the highest bidder. There is nothing more frustrating than watching your money go down the drain with 25k on scratchers and common after common on crates.

UE can do better, the mechanics weren't in the game before they are now. Remove the bonus FPs they give you when you purchase and replace it with a voucher.

Well, that's actually roughly the going rate today. A single crate roll is 30fp which is just under $5. With the current percentages, you can expect a rare (epic) about 1 roll in 5 (resp 1 roll in 10) which works out to roughly $50/rare ($100/epic). (Yes, I know triple rolls and the 10% bonus to fp purchases make it slightly cheaper.). But you aren't guaranteed a rare or epic when you buy crates today.

I think when buying a 3 roll should get some sort of guarantee, like aleast 1 rare or higher %100 of the time. How many times have ppl rolled 3 commons. Or have it where you don't get commons when doing a 3 roll.

            Re: Crates

Maybe it would be nice to be able to sell the LTs you get. if you get 3 fp for a common, 5 fp for an uncommon, 10p for a rare and 20fp for an epic. You'll get the next crate faster if you got bad LT's the previous time.

              Re: Crates

Or use techlab crate evolution where instead of 30 shards u get rare roll at 45 and epic at 60 shards, that way getting those rolls can be kept special/limited. Like insignias.
I like idea of guaranteed epic/rare as I rly would like to evolve my Vice n Frank. My 2 tries to get an epic or specific lt from crate were horribly expensive.

Login bonus is nice, would like to see more lts drop (common/uncommon is fine) and less alloys bc one gets enough by gameplay. An occasional rare would of course be nice too

                Re: Crates

i myself find it very stupid for lts such as john ak fang blade colt mia lotus the saw manic tio razor spider officer mike chimera hydra hammer ghost lucas porsche preacher berserker boris fox mortar arya ..
everyone can have most of them from ingame $ purchase and dice jobs so why put them in crates at all ..why ruin peoples day.
its ok for me to have a lower chance to get rare/epic lts from crate and a higher chance for common/uncommon lt .
and i wouldnt mind that much if the common i was rolling was scrubber hauler throttle crossbones..but u spend 30 fp to roll a hammer lt ..that is just stupid.

This is the reason I haven't spent any money on this game for over a year. So many times I bought the آ£15 pack to do the triple crate roll and got 3 commons, or 2 commons and an uncommon that is useless too me. It use to take me 2 hours to earn آ£15, I would rather take the two hours off work ^^

                    Re: Crates

Or maybe you could fuse two crates into a guaranteed uncommon crate, two uncommon crates into a guarenteed rare crate, and two rare crates into an epic?
