I know that. But if one did not lose bp in the first place then a large part of the double effort goes away reducing a players frustration. Eg I need 25000 points to get from 16 to 19 the safe tier but if I am constantly losing points and pushed down then after a point I will stop bothering. There is someone always stronger. This way an added lvl of frustration is reduced for a player. Specially frustrating when u are asleep and in the morning u have lost a lot of points lol.

Easiest thing to do is for the game to clarify that after 80 lvl anyone is allowed to hit high or low just when a person is starting his game for first time. This should be enough warning to new players. I know people in ca who have builds of lvl 100 with at/df soo high even lvl 500-600 have to think twice to hit them. These are just different aspects of the game.

Though one thing I think is really the root of all the problems is the people getting hit, losing bp. Effectively they have to not only recoup the lost bp due to players hitting them they have to keep trying to stay ahead. (Ahem me!! By almost every high lvl syndicate empire player!! ;p i am still ahead in points losers. ) I have discussed this with a lot of my mates and we agreed that majority of the pain from people farming each other is the loss of bp. Please stop the bp loss and all problems of people complaining about farming is gone and finished forever. And we all enjoy the battles trying to improve rather than cursing the feeling that we are fighting a loosing battle.
I actually like the loss of BP for a loss, since it makes you really think about how to distribute your stat points, and when to get better gear rather than just get BP, a.k.a. strategy. If you do away with BP loss, there is no longer any incentive to pvp judiciously. Mist, the scenarios you're talking about aren't the problem -- level 500 energy/stam build with low rank not attacking a level 100 with great pvp record and high rank. It's not the attacks that don't happen that are the problem. It's the attacks that do happen from very high level players farming hundreds of levels down. They do that because they can guarantee wins, and well, the lowbie isn't going to be able to level up fast enough to do anything about it.

I would make the battle list rank based, Instead of level based.

Since all tycoons should fight their own level +/- 3 ranks.

And raise the soft to about 150 and dont allow low level guys to attack levels way beyond theirs. Saves a lot of people.

Also allowing low level players to execute high level players, and not allowing high level players to retaliate with meaning is bs. I would think that there should be some consequences. If i decide to go after a low level player because they executed me, i win nothing but w/L ratio, this isnt fair in my opinion. They should be allowed to lose ranks at least this way low level players will think twice about attacking a high level player.

I would of thought a system like castleage would of been in effect. Currently once you pass lvl300 you become available to all players lvl300+ to attack you.
System like Castle Age is into effect. The "soft" one is at level 80. After level 80 anyone can attack you but you won't appear in the battlelist of a lvl 300. The reaosn why a level 300 attacksn you might be a) you were in his friendlist and while increasing his rank he found out that you have a high rank too or b) someone gave your code to this level 300 so he can find some nice targets. After level 300 you are ffa, you going to appear on everyones battlelist who is above level 300.

And Scientific, the problem is exactly whats mentioned. You would penalitize yourself a lot because of people who aimed to high for their level if you make a cap of 50 levels up and down. This game does not have a final level cap. Your idea might work, but again people like to hit high too. Its what Mist said, here and in Castle Age it is the same. The moment a low level beats a high level he jumps and dances in joy, the moment he gets defeated he screams that it is unfair Ignore those folks, kill anything you want and do when you want!

As for Free Epic LT's when i talked to the Devs they did say somethings in the works.

It's win win that I would have to pay for an "off" switch to lvl up in pvp?? Gtfo that is pathetic, my god.

Leaves everyone happy as high level players cant farm anyone other their own levels.

Another thing I would add is pvp levels that are based on player levels. So it wont allow you to have a pvp level of lets say 18 until your above level 250 or above.

I would accomplish this by allowing people to level up so far in pvp within a level group until they pass that group and into the next group. Its a simple system to fix protect the young players and give them time to build up and get ready for when they pass the threshold of 200 or 250 they are on their own.

I know of players in their lvl 100-200 who have only 1-2at-df all energy/stamina build. People get happy when they hit and win from theses high lvls. The only problem here is that lower lvls reach ranks which they can't defend. Eg if lvls tiered pvp was done then do you have any idea how long it would take to even reach a higher rank let alone the top?? The refreshes alone would bore people out of the game. Lol.

Also yes the way this games Lt and boss setup is made it is very expensive to play. But you don't have to buy the stuff to enjoy the game. The game is new so some Bugs need to be worked out regarding the bosses which the devs will be looking into I'm sure. The main reason this particular player has left is because he could not start his toon over and did not have the patience to build the toon into a different direction. This is something I feel a game should allow a complete reset. I am not saying allow stat point reset but a complete reset. If a player has made a mistake due to being new to these kind of games the option to reset his character to zero does no harm. In fact it will generate more revenue for developers as people who might want to reset will have to spend at least some more money because they certainly won't get a refund for that already spent. just my view.

Also you can allow all levels to be attacked in Empire wars. This solves all farming issues and if your 250 and above and cant hold your own well your better off playing barbies dream house or hello kitty.

Since devs did tell me that if they allowed raw stats to be the main factor in empire wars, and that they made the system to be fair for all, they should also implement this so that low level players are protected.

Also to surpass this the devs can make money too. All they have to do is sell a off switch. You buy it to remove protection from your account and allow all to hit. Its a win win.

I will also be leaving the game soon. For me, pvp was the fun part -- win on build, gear, and opponent selection. I got to rank 15 at level 97 and it was great. Great that is... until people 100-300 levels above me started farming me. And there's nothing I can do about it, not by having a better build, better gear, or anything else. 100-300 levels above means 500-1500 more stat points for duels, which is simply un-winnable. And, well, I don't play un-winnable games.

I've spent only about $40 on this game and have a blast playing it, granted it was wasted money since I got useless gear, but whatever I took the gamble and lost. It has not affected my game at all. Just sayin...
