I think there should be a goodbye thread and I will be the first person!

I decided to leave the game before I waste to much of my time onto it. The way I built my character is totally wrong and it makes it worse to play as a non-paying player. Level slow (like other thread i mentioned, attack doesn't do anything at all, but adding stamina can help level significantly faster and land more points on boss), I am stuck with boss fight (without help I failed, with help those over-paying player come in slaughter the boss so fast that I cant reach a threshold I desire) and dueling seems weird and full of drama. Anyway, blu has to spend over $150 just to kill a boss (imagine the next coming few bosses and anticipated new lieutenants), no way I can do that, never! And, recently I eye witness another friend of my throwing in hundred of dollars to fight red phoenix, it hurts my feeling. This game is just for money sucking (that's what apps do, I can't complain) and Phoenix Age, you are very successful! with the exception that there is something you can try next time to make more money. Say your target sale is $5 for 30fps, you should start with $10 for 30fp (so you begin with making twice as much), then lower it back to $5 for 30fps. It might help alleviate complains. Just a suggestion.

Anyway, thanks for those replied my thread and I appreciate your time. Bye and have fun, if you think waiting is part of the fun .

i am a very indecisive person, and playing this game makes me feel worse (no max level capped, no stat points capped, etc etc and ultimately, whats the point getting those gears after spending so darn lot of resources onto, I don't feel fun.

I agree the game is expensive but what ur saying seems a little over the top... Yes I have spent money... But never on stam refills ... R u fighting public bosses or something? Those I do find chancy since I don't know who I'm getting into it with...but empire boss should be ok...at least I've never had trouble....

Yeah idk what your talking about Lisa. I don't think Blue has to pay anything to kill a boss... Cause he's so strong. Refills are not necessary by any means. Start your own boss fight and just do a call to arms instead of making it public. Or put more points into Stam and attack. It does make a difference. I'm level 112 and doing just fine. The only money I ever put in was $5 to get that bonus pack when the update came out.

I feel your pain on money issue. I have had to re-discipline myself not to spend as much as i have and even if new lieutenants are made available or new bosses or what not, i cant afford to spend anymore because at the end of the day its a game.

That been said though, you don't have to spend to play but to compete then maybe yes, you do... if you are not patient enough to slowly build your character that is (which is what i will personally have to do now) .

All in All, its a great game but every one has different resources and game play.

Oh Blue DID spend 150 dollars on a Red Phoenix alone. And he had 80 ppl calling help for him all over tge world still can't finish it without spending real $...

He posted it himself and questioned the toughness of the boss... I guess when u put soooo much into a boss and then at the end u r out of time u kinda have to put money in to recharge just to save those sunken investments?

Not trying to agree or disagree w anyone here. Just pointing that fact out.

            Re: good bye thread

I appreciate the genuine reasons and concerns you stated as to why you chose to leave, and I understand them for the most part. It is a pretty expensive game to get into if you want to be able to do all the things that the developers have created for us. Unfortunately, it's just the nature with any online game that you end up having to compete with others in order to succeed. And with players willing to spend quite a bit on this game, it makes it difficult for others to be successful in the same environment.

The most important part of playing any game is to have fun, and if you realize that you aren't having any more fun playing this, then perhaps it is the right choice to leave.

            Take care!

Well said, Blink and Chelsea. I sincerely don't believe you have to spend your life savings on this game to have fun. I have invested some $, but not to the extent of what I read others have done. But, I can honestly say, I am still completely addicted to this game, especially after the empire battles got implemented. I think the following things help me to enjoy this game so much:

              1. I belong to a great empire. My clan is like family to me. I love them to pieces.

              2. I don't let PvP executions get to me. So what if someone plops down $ to get stronger than me and farms me 10 times a day. Rolls off my back like water off a duck. Don't mean they are better than me, just means they have different priorities for their $ than me. That's all it means.

              3. I focus on what i enjoy in this game and make my build support what I find fun. I really enjoy people bouncing off me and being an Enforcer in Empire Battles. So, I focus all my sp in being the best Enforcer I can be. That means I don't level up as fast as others, I am not very successful at PvP, and I am still fertilizer to the big badass farmers. Don't care as long as I am enjoying my game.

That's the bottom line in playing a game: having fun. And, I am. Tons of fun.

              Just my two cents.

I spent $65 today on crates and only got common and uncommon lieutenants. I've most likely in this short period of time I've been playing spent maybe $200. I am a bargain shopper looking for the lowest price always and never buy digital games because I can't resell them. I'm honestly embarrassed how much I've spent on this game for the little compensation I have received. It's not just a few dollars at this point now. I'm upset because I can't even get an epic lieutenant for $20,$40,$60? Let alone combining them. I wish I hadn't found this game, damn my addictive personality!

And the worst part of it is once you starting buying crates, it's even harder to stop. And in your case when you finally get that epic LT you've been lusting for forever, you'll want oh, just "another" roll to see if maybe, just maybe, you can level it up to 2-star...

Just dont go to las vegas (or any other places with casinos) lol.

But I hear ya, pretty much every game is Pay to be the best -- kinda the whole idea of the app-gaming world I guess (free game to download - gotta make money somehow)!

Thay said, ive spent some loot on this game but nothing to show for it also (crates). Just wont be doing it again thats all. Im set a limit and hopefully ill stick to it haha. But i wouldnt quit the game, most people who play DONT pay to play... You could just start over and with your knowledge on how to level now, you could try a dofferent build and see what happens!

To keep from spending to much, I limit my self to 15 to 25 bucks a month, that way I can keep it affordable and if I want a Lt. I know in a month ill get another try.

I'm an experienced MMO player so I know all about gambling crates and their inexplicable lure. So I stay away. I have spent exactly $5.00 on this game to date and that was for the beginners pack which came with update (and to support the dev team for making an awesome game).

HOWEVER, if the devs don't make epic LT's available to free players soon I'm quitting for sure. As I said before, I'm okay with buying crates in an effort to aquire LT's and gear faster than you would otherwise be able. That's fine. But I should be able to aquire the same stuff, even if it takes me 10x as long. Right now I simply can't do that and it's not fair. I love this game but I am not willing to spend hundreds of dollars in order to make myself "competitive".

I've spent only about $40 on this game and have a blast playing it, granted it was wasted money since I got useless gear, but whatever I took the gamble and lost. It has not affected my game at all. Just sayin...

I will also be leaving the game soon. For me, pvp was the fun part -- win on build, gear, and opponent selection. I got to rank 15 at level 97 and it was great. Great that is... until people 100-300 levels above me started farming me. And there's nothing I can do about it, not by having a better build, better gear, or anything else. 100-300 levels above means 500-1500 more stat points for duels, which is simply un-winnable. And, well, I don't play un-winnable games.
