I saw a recent post and some other chatter about fusion being useless because when you turn in LTs for one to increase your dueling load out you are in turn weakening your war load out and makes fusing "useless"
This is inaccurate.
First of all we all know how dueling works. You take all 5 LTs in your inner circle with seat bonuses and your individual stats and BAAM duel power.
HOWEVER the war formula seems
to be one of the missing pieces of knowledge for many people.
I will attempt to explain this great mystery. Please follow carefully.
War Forumla:
How warring works is you calculate how many allies YOU BRING TO WAR.... Not that you have in total.
So lets say you have 1605 allies you war somebody you will take the standard 501 allies to war. If you have Sin equipped in your inner circle her power will kick in granting you to take more allies to war.
Things to consider:
- Level/Power of your allies means absolutely nothing
- how many allies you have means nothing as long as you have over your max for war
Example WAR FORMULA (we will use 501 allies in this example)
OFFENSE:
Take the total 501 and multiply by your personal characters attack stat lets say its 1000atk.
501 * 1000atk = 501,000
Then take the 501 again and times by your defense stat. Lets say its 1000. BUT if your attacking you only use 70% of this number.
501 * 1000 def = 501,000 * 70% = 350,700
THEN take both of those numbers and add them together
501,000atk + 350,700def = 851,700 total attack power
Now the next step if you wish to calculate it all is your LTs and gear. (The higher you level and the higher your atk/def becomes, the less relevant gear and LTs will become for war)
Lets say you have 501 of each of the following:
501x Eagle Eyes (18atk 15def)
501x Lucky Strikes (12atk 6def)
501x Golden Boys (15atk 15def)
501x Bazookas (19atk 12def)
501x G10s (20atk 20def)
501x Business Man Suits (20atk 20def)
Do some multiplication and addition and your total gear attack power will be: 52,104 and total defense 44,088 (70% used if on attack) 30,861
Add them together
52,104 + 30,861 = 82,965 total gear attack power
Then add your LTs. Assuming you have 50x LTs at an average of 50atk 50def (for the sake of math) that's an additional 2,500atk and 2,500def (70% if attacking)
Add together 2,500atk + 1,750def = 4,250 total LT attack power.
NOW THE MOMENT OF TRUTH
Add all 3 totals together
Individual Character Attack Power:
851,700
+
Total Gear Attack Power:
82,965
+
Total LT attack power:
4,250
=
Total War attack Power
938,019
So you see your individual stats when at 1000atk 1000def will make up for 90% of your total war power. LTs are only 1/2% of your total war attack power. Gear is 9.5% in this example.
So you see when you lose a couple LTs because of a fusion, it won't matter nearly at all for a war.
Wars are almost entirely based on your individual stats.
Important Notes:
- Sin is the single most important war LT GET HER
- when on attack always use 70% of the total defense value.
- when on defense always use 70% of the total offensive value.
- in empire wars dueling is used, NOT warring
- fuse away!
