Maybe I am reading wrong, but are u also saying that the token recharge is only good if every slot is active? Please tell me I just misunderstood that 'Extra Token' only if every player is active

    If yes, everything okay.
No we killed everyone 15 min early and still lost, that's the problem.

@Niaboc I read this and agreed right away. @Manimal. Truth, I cant believe I missed "the long run" of hence "building your empire" those extra tokens are going to give a better chance at early victory ty.

Enjoy all comments and empires we played (use battle chat all its fun and allies available)

We are my no means a huge empire but we've managed some serious damage to some of you large empires.....Well not all of you <clears throat....UW GODS. But I'm more thankful for the chance to play big empires and learn, meet, and scout their resources.

*Very tired if any obvious mistakes or statemets sorry *

See you on Battlefield feel free to add me

Maybe I'm coming acros the wrong way I'm not complaining we lost I love playing ES I'm upset that we killed very thing on their side and lost. They past is in points that we can get yet the game continue going why? Those are issues. Winning and losing makes people better and evaluate things if you never lose you never improve.

    I concur, Paul.

Players/Empires who didnt win a battle will always ask for ways to win and when they start winning... the players who then lost then complain for ways to win and so on and so on and so on.......... SMH

I think you're looking at things wrong here though as compared to our previous 2 matches against you guys, you were in control for a lot of the match and that is directly because of the increased members. You had 43 actives to our 36, but you guys made some very poor strategic choices near the end. One thing I noticed when analyzing the match was that some of your players thought because you were up by points that they could slow down on using their tokens. This is what completely slowed down your point accumulation. You were ahead by a lot of points but we were able to catch up and get more points than you before you finished killing our last member. That is more to do with some of your members error than to do with the battle system. Also, you had around 4 actives up that had a healthy amount of life and around 5 that were getting low. The 5 decided to try and be hero's and quickly burn down our last member, I watched as they took themselves out of the battle giving us the points we needed. The way I look at it, if the additional members didn't slow down, you would of killed us off before we even reached 100 points let alone 117.

As far as the comment of needing high BSI players who are very active. I 100% agree, if you want to be successful in empire battles at the highest level if you don't field 40 actives you don't stand a chance anymore. That's how any competitive game is though so I don't see the problem with it. It's comes down to what you want for your empire. If you want to be the best empire you must ensure you have the best (active, high BSI, FP spenders) members.

I don't think the system should be changed, you guys could of easily put that game away. It also creates different strategies and adds a different dynamic to the game. Whoever finishes with more points wins.

What an interesting discussion on an interesting battle. My take aways from the discussion are two things:

    1. Empires increasing their membership should carefully select their new members and must maintain good discipline on the field of battle.

    2. There is a request for an upgrade that gives the last empire standing an automatic win without regard to the score. This better simulates real live battles.

Personally, I am enjoying the current battling system quite a bit already. It is still so new, and we are still learning about it's various features and about outcomes of various strategies. While we are learning, we are bound to take a wrong turn here or there and end up with a defeat. I think it's part of learning the game.

UWE does not have to match real life to be fun. But, I also see where it wouldn't hurt either. In either case, it just means we need to adjust our strategies to win.

    4) 10 extra members earning boss points on the boss leader board

To end a battle early, you must destroy all buildings and players. If you have more members you have more firepower. If you have more firepower you should be able to achieve the early termination condition sooner.

Adding 10 extra members is so absurdly beneficial I can hardly believe this thread exists. To ask an empire to not only overcome a 330 token deficit but ALSO require them to earn 10 extra points in the same amount of time in order to win seems a little silly. THAT would break the game because empires without the member upgrade would no longer be able to compete with empires that had it.
After this factual and accurate post I fail to see how this discussion can go on.

The fact one team lost with more actives is pure and simple strategy based mistakes and if anything gives hope to the prospect that empires with less members can actually win as the underdog

I will have to say that inactive players SHOULD NOT BE IN EMPIRES!!! Why aren't they just free lance? I know that we like to win... Also while I'm back and forth about the money I enjoy being able t buy more stamina, if u can do it why not? I mean the game has to make money...but I also think that we should be able to upgrade building without an empire cap of only 500,000!!! That's not fair that's like what 5 people a day? I have an empire FULL OF ACTIVES, that's how I recruited them..well some arent a d they will go freelance, but I have at least 25-30 on in a day, I feel like AT LEAST 20 ppl should be able to donate a day, the limit should most def be increased, I mean this is a gam to win right? If weaker empires can't contribute sorry but I have so many willing to. Also if players are in different time zones can they still donate? Now I feel like at least the 24 hour clock should start for each individual person. ALSO if we can buy epics and stamina and all this why cants we buy war tokens? And why can't we start with more than 10 if its 30 max? If you wait on 30 ur dead lol, just suggestions.

Re: Empire Battle Upgrading Members Limit FAIL

Reading over this thread, I'm not sure if any method of determining a winner is 100% fair.

You are right, once they hit 117, there was no way you can win. Regardless of what happens, they had one more kill than you could possibly get.

But you had a chance to win it, if you would have killed them all before they got to 117, you would have won with 116-xxx. You did not finish the game off quick enough and they did slightly more damage.

For the idea of once you destroy everyone on the otherside is an automatic win. Sound like a good idea, but there is always a drawback.

This give a empire with 60 who can destroy everything within the two hours a huge advantage against a similar empire of 50. The empire of 50 will need to do an additional 16000+HP(10 playersX1600HP each) damage to the larger guild in the same amount of time to win. That is a lot of tokens the smaller guild needs to overcome the bigger.

Is it a perk of getting to 60 before the other empire? Sure, but the conclusion of a battle like that is known already in the first few seconds.
