Don’t quote me on this but I’m pretty sure I read a post from Duke that said he plans to address this. I think making the distinction between commons and rares more obvious would be good too.

      Make epics apex Predators
      Rares predators
      Uncommon prey
      Common scavengers

Easy to tell animals and the art work needs to be on par with the LTs.

Every LT in a crate needs to have a complimentary sidekick added to their list that boost something maybe 1 star level on the skill boost and for 9 * LTs can add 2% boost to their skill.

So if at 9* your LT gave you 10% critical would be boosted to 10.2%

Re: Post your opinions about the sidekicks!

Playing sidekicks since day 1 offering. 4 toons and none of the 3 bigger accounts have received an epic so far it. But low level 200 account has received 2 epics! Hmmmmmmmm... Coincidence? Random RNG? Doesn’t seem random to me. Just my experience so far. Good luck to all

Re: Post your opinions about the sidekicks!

My personal opinion is that the sidekicks are pointless “Pokemon” game which is not relevant in the current game universe. It would have been better to allow players to seat lts instead of sidekicks with the new seats having bonus powers like “2x ability boost”, 1.5x xp boost to seated Lt or 10% dmg boost etc. So many options.

I like the idea of extra seats in a loadout. Just not the sidekick in animal form concept.

Re: Post your opinions about the sidekicks!

I was very excited about the 6th loadout, until I realized that there are not many sidekicks around!

25 different sidekicks mean collecting ALL rare, uncommon, and common sidekicks if you are not lucky enough to get an epic one.

Please increase the amount of common sidekicks or decrease the 25 different sidekicks requirement. A new loadout does not give an advantage to players but it really eases one of the most frustrating aspects of the game, constant lt change.

Anytime you add content to the game I appreciate it. Playing many years enjoy the game.
Truth is new content to gain extra cash. I bet they get a nice bump on 💰💰💰💰💰.

Not sure a butterfly in a underworld empire is what I expected as a sidekick. Step back and think about that. Dam I just did. Oh well I guess let’s see what and how this will improve our expierence.

Re: Post your opinions about the sidekicks!

I think on the next update we should have a function that allows us to evolve our sidekicks. The prerequisites for such upgrades will of course require a combination of recombs, dna and most importantly favor points.
We could even expand on this come easter by releasing eggs that we can hatch. The possibilities are literally endless with this newest update and I am eager to see what happens next.

Good job guys!! Rock on!! #UEisthebest

Re: Post your opinions about the sidekicks!

I find the overall ideea good, but unfortunately I do not like the execution of it.
I like that you can add 5 more powers to your inner circle. I also like the free 3 hunts per day. I would like for the powers to remain more different than lts powers, that's why they are sidekicks, they do what there owners cannot not.
I don't really feel the animal theme to be fitted in. The sidekicks art shows them in the wild. They are not pets, they are "spirit animals" (end quote). Keeping one animal for all the rarities with just a different color tone is not the best solution. You end up not caring what animal you have. Xcali (I think) had a better ideea: Epics - predators, Rares - slightly less. The powers sometimes seem way too low for processing rate (Buckeye). You have same power in a Common and an Uncommon (+5 energy -10 stamina). I see noone to star up that uncommon. And stop the negative powers. Even at 9*, it seems it will have minus 1.
I am not sure if I like the fact that supplies can be found only via hunting. It somehows stops the super LSI's outhere, but the return is so small.

Bottom line: its something new, but nothing groundbreaking. It will hardly change the way people look at the game. If someone will return to the game, I think it will be only short lived. It doesn't add too much in playability, just a few more lts in disguise.

Re: Post your opinions about the sidekicks!

-3 free hunt per day is awesome.
-Place a timer on the main screen.
-Add option to gain more supplies. Possibly from jobs, bosses, EvE collection, new property.
-Sidekicks abilities seem completely wrong. I feel if you seat a sidekick under your Right Hand LT they should somehow effect that LT stats or abilities. Not just add a few stat points to you.
-Other people also mentioned the theme and I have to say that is the biggest turn off. Sidekicks should be people like secret service, body guards, drug mules, gun runners, prostitues, getaway drivers, weapon specialists, etc. Before John Wick goes on a rampage he visits some of those people to prepare. I don’t recall him going to a forest to catch some butterflies or pet a deer.

Re: Post your opinions about the sidekicks!

Dont really like the animal theme. Surely my 20 Caribbean Islands have hundreds of buttlerflies?

I would have preferred an underworld theme. Maybe recruit’ instead of hunt, your idea here is to look for new up and comers in your empire you want to keep an eye on.
                        - A made man’ or soldier, you think to could make a Capo. (Mafia)
                        - A corner boy that is making good money. (Cartel)
                        - A street urchin’ providing you good intel (Baker Street Irregulars ;-p) (Street)
                        - A promising Shatei within the syndicate

Lots of sources/ideas, you can link them to existing factions, if that boosts the existing faction powers (e.g John’s Gun etc) then that’s ok. It provides a good harmony to the lower level members of your empire.

For me, right now, hunt’ just feels like another game. I’m not even reallly looking to seat them at this time. Mainly some of them have negative abilities, some are bad skills (Dash).

I haven’t seated any yet. Have 20 of various stars, working towards the seat mostly the skills don’t grab me at all. None of them are really enough to think they will make a difference in any way. Can sway a win if your very very close in stats

Re: Post your opinions about the sidekicks!

Here is my opinion- 115 hunts so far 1-epic, 4-rare. This is not right. Far worse than crate rolls. How about giving us some value for the huge amounts spent on this game and please remove the coding in the RNG the punishes higher level accounts requiring them to spend more. RNG should be random, not weighted. Thank you

Re: Post your opinions about the sidekicks!

so after playing through it some time now, i'm finding it hard to determine which sidekick im putting where, what were the devs thinking making the same type of art for 4 different rarities??? i know i've said it before but its really annoying to use animals... in a mafia game.

i play one gacha game which this game kind of reminds me of, i still don't understand why it's so hard to pull an epic (>5%??) its usually at least 10% in other games.

this 'new feature' is just another lazy copy paste.

The artwork is annoying. Just the same images mirrored and painted’ differently.

Very hard to recognize at a glance.
