Good choice stopping. It was 3 epic shards and 6 rare shards. I wish I stopped at 8 too.

Is the gem available at any stage?

Got an early start and then had to travel before finishing lol. Wasn't sure if it was still available after the first 8 hours...

Ummmm, I have to echo the comments a few posters made above. I was under the impression that these events would be cheap and affordable for all. I think aiming for 20$ spend I think is about right. Big events should be big spends where rewards are set and placements are unknown.

Asking people to spend 300-400$ on average to obtain an epic crate is kinda crazy when they can save and spend that on a major event and most likely walk away with an epic voucher along with a ton of other stuff and most likely an event LT.

Re: Something to know about Boss Heist - Jewelry Chasing [Duke]

Joined mini Event, like everyone does. I myself read about event 24 hours before start and not 3 days! So i think we will have 2 regular bosses flee. A little more time before event starts would be greatly appreciated. 3 days is ok, 24 hours not enough to my eyes.

          - the bonus for finishing it early is interesting for big spenders, not for me though (especially not if u sit in middle of europe where event started at 8 pm)
          - nice to get hints about structure of bosses before the Event, but u should have stated that the first 3 stages (with 4 bosses) are ALL enforcers. So if u dont plan on spending tons of refills u were very unlucky not choosing sniper-class. And: Enforcers are punished everywhere in game, it would be nice to see more events/bosses who are easier for them (and snipers wouldnt really notice the difference)
          - i stopped being in stage 5. Why? I had to used up 8 refills up to that point (and i had 3 lvlups!) and noticed the big difference between stage 3 and 4. I thought about next "big" event and just hope that my bucky are invested more wisely spending in there. Sorry, but for such an amount of refills i expect some more getting back then some shards. I know why epic shard could be worth (if u would get an event epic), but i would rather just get a regular one anyway.

I like playing the game. And i surely appreciate ur effort in making it more interesting then just 1 big event every 2 months. I just can speak of myself, but the price structure is "hefty"; it is what keeps me away from spending money. For 5 bucks (or euro which is even more) i just get 3 refills or 1 crate roll. So u can raise 1 lvl (2 with some luck) or get 1 uncommon lt. Cmon. I started a new mini some time ago and went through the "starting game promos". At least there u get some value for ur money. The long term players just got St. Patricks Day roll. Sorry, but the cash/value structure couldnt be worse. And i dont compare with other games: I just think that there should be more value for money spent in the game then actually is.

          Addition:
I know some will say maybe i would get an epic from spending 5 bucks. That is true. BUT: U can spend a VIP in rolls and not get a single epic. So if i spend money i dont get "value", i just get "the chance of value". And that is even worse in my eyes.

This event was far too expensive. 40 refills for one third of an epic is a horrible return on investment. It felt more like a cash grab than an event. Without drastic changes I'll be giving this event a miss in future

For 3-4 VIP packs you can roll 90-120 regular crates and you'll certainly get many uncommons, some rares, and probably at least 5 epics or so. Crates aren't even considered good value in the first place, but let's compare crates to heists. Would you rather spend $300-$400 on 120 LTS (can be fused to star up) including ~30 uncommon, ~10 rares and 5 epics? Or $300-$400 on 10 LTs, literally just 8-9 rares and 1 epic? The value simply isn't there in these heists. They are a good idea on paper, but the value is worse than rolling regular crates by a landslide. And the mysterious shop is pretty much insignificant as well..

I feel the same way. Being 60% done with the epic crate sucks because now I feel like I need to finish the crate. As soon as I make it and have 0 epic shards again, I'm not planning on spending on heists unless "drastic changes" are made. I don't want to skip the heists but it's clear the devs have some profit formula and aren't open to making heists any more affordable/rewarding to anyone who isn't level 150 and below.

Re: Something to know about Boss Heist - Jewelry Chasing [Duke]

In my point of view, this event is a big step of coding and I see a lot of potential from it. Remember guys, this is the first boss heist, anything can be fixed in the future, just like the job heist.

                  To the players :
                  - You can enjoy the free stuff from this event. By far, this is the easiest heist that you can actually get a bunch of stuff for free ( the first few stages are really easy).
                  - You need to erase the mind set of finishing all heist missions otherwise, It will become expensive and make you angry. What is the net gain If everyone finish heist ?

                  To Duke/Gaea Dev:

                  - I believe when we have no idea what boss we will encouter, this is like a gamble. Example, this event, the last boss's cost to kill is around 50% of the whole event; It is an assassin boss , It would be absolute horrific If a player chooses demo class and keep smashing with 66% attack damage.
-> My suggestion : Maybe you can have a list of what boss we will encounter, careful consideration will be made once the player join the boss event with their chosen class , or simply, seperate the 10 phases to 10 bosses so players can choose their class.

                  - The reward scaling is a bit terrible for stage 8-9-10, the cost starts crazy from here and the reward cannot make up for that. Personally , I would love If you include legendary items here, or even, unique legendary that can only be obtained through boss heist, with chance drop, not 100%. I am sure most of us will love this idea and happy to finish the event without massive complain. Common rewards like insignia, chem-packs, parts, recomb, cc are also a good addition in the future.

Drops would be good. For energy heist, it is like normal job on steroid, more xp, more cash and still sp. However here, drops are just the heist drops, nothing else. For non spender or low stam, almost better to do normal boss rather the heist.
I'm for new events, and I think that's nice to have, and looking forward for others. Hopefully our thoughts on forum will be taken into account

Re: Something to know about Boss Heist - Jewelry Chasing [Duke]

LSi boss killer build. Over 2500 stamina. With a 30+% crit rate sniper setup - Used 20-25 uncapped stamina refills, over 1.5 million damage total. Finished first 4 bosses at stage 0, the rest at stage 1. (Work happens)

I used 10-15 uncapped energy refills for level ups - from lvl 1666 to lvl 1683 over course of event.

I could have been more efficient with a higher crit rate setup and switching out for Anson, stretching it out over more stages for slightly less bonus rewards.

Feels like I spent around 160 FP worth of refills (scratchers' uncapped refills and LSi build make the value here for my build) - for which I could have rolled 6 crates - and probably not gotten an epic.

I got enough shards to get another Baron, which I have 3*. Fusion fodder probably. And enough rare shards for Crimson, so that was ok.

Additional boss drops on the scale of Legends bosses or past unique items from black market LTs would have been very nice. Hoping one day I get to use one of my 200 blue prints. :-)

Reading through these comments I really do value everyone else's feedback in regards to the amount of refills they've used. I've now decided at stage 4 to quit this mini event before I do any further damage to my refill stash.

To the Devs - The fact we have regular mini events is a really good positive for many of us. The reward structure vs. Amount of refills/money spend is 10x times more pathetic than even kabam. How can you justify now giving shards instead of actual lieutenants. This game after years of my commitment is actually starting to make my blood boil. Sort it out

i normally spent 3-4 vip's for event just for the epic LT but seeing people review & reward. i stopped doing the event & ignore it. the cost are just too much and greedy.

I've stopped also at tier 6. The rewards don't worth the $$$. The same I did with the PvP mini event. I gave them both a try, but quickly consider not worth.
These mini events must be "fine-tuned" for everyone's benefit.
I will pass these two if there will be no changes.

I'm at tier 8. Stopped spending at tier 7. Cost effort to payoff ratio is not good with this event. I admit I enjoy it but it just cost way too much.
