You guys gotta realize this community has been basically ignored and forgotten for like two years now other than obligatory events and minor content changes, some major ones as well.
Everything the old team released was an absolute chore to play and grind towards. The tech lab legendaries and chempacks are a good example of this.
I really think some folks are just skeptical about the heists because we've been burned before. Remember when insignias released and they nerfed the drop rate? Remember when gold and silver jobs reached area 4+? Spending thousands of energy for a single skill point. Remember when we saw the numbers on the pieces we needed to create a legendary in the tech lab? Remember when they cut those numbers in half and it basically did nothing to help it because the original figures were so bad? Remember when the community created an entire content suggestion thread with over 100 pages and we never got one developer response? Remember the sheer amount of class coins it took to max out one of the 2nd tier classes after spending 10k to unlock it? Remember when the Dice Jobs stopped being progressively better to actually being worse than the previous one? (You think it's a coincidence everyone farms Westside?) Remember when the FPS bosses were introduced and the point figure we needed to hit was nearly double what it had been previously costing us twice as much stamina? I could go on...
I just think we should all be a little more understanding of where the so called "whiners" are coming from. If it weren't for people stating things they find unfair or not rewarding than nothing would ever change, ever. They have a right to make their opinion known.
Like everyone else is saying we should wait to see how the heists work and how the rewards are. However, the skepticism is real. Please don't act like the "whiners" aren't justified.
