Agreed. I hope they can pull some heads together and figure out what's best.

A couple years ago it became clear that BSI was at a disadvantage in most of the events. So I knew a lot of people that abandoned it and went to LSI myself included.

If the mini events have a chance to get super crates, there may be a bump to Super LSI which will just boost the average level of players but the variety of builds will decrease.

I'm already contemplating going 6k energy simply because to gold star cost so much energy. If this is the format of heists then it will help here as well. Which will make it worth losing the strength.

So the higher levels who have the advantage in every single event in getting the most rewards and the best items are crying about level 50's leveling too fast over the course of 3 days?? Seems legit 👍🏻

Low levels are getting free chances at Frank/Vice without having to spend anything while we won't get any chance unless we spend. That's what "seems legit"

And no, high levels DON'T have the advantage in "every single event." Low levels LSI level up quickly so there are quite a few events like Casino event which ALREADY cater to low levels. One of my level 160-170 minis got 200+ gold chips and an epic crate roll without spending anything while my main had to drop $50 to get it. It would be absolute blasphemy to make these "regular" and "frequent" heists completely benefit low levels with free crates and cash, and give practically nothing to high levels without spending. They definitely need to be heavily rebalanced.

People are talking like they're giving away a free epic crate roll after this event, Their giving away 3 epic shards. Which means it's going to take 10 events (a year?) before you can make 1 epic crate roll. By that time they won't be in a position to level very fast and will buy refills to get those last precious shards. It's actually good for business

10 heists is 3-4 months. They want to have 3-4 heists per month. And you're completely theory crafting. No real math behind this. I can tell you that at this rate my level 80 mini will absolutely easily get 1, if not 2 free epic crates, without spending a dime. It leveled from 65 to only 82-83 during this event and completed the entire heist. It's guaranteed going to get 3 more epic shards for free from each heist it does for the next 300+ levels. Still has plenty of free refills/FP that I didn't have to buy as well. Meanwhile my main will never get 3 shards (probably not even 1) from these unless I spend $20-$25+ on every heist. If I want to get a chance at an event epic then I have to spend a total of $200-$250 while low level players/minis are getting it free.

Good event for newer players to catch up and level up also to get rare / Epic crates crates

I'm not quite sure why so much value is put on shards by the devs. You may get 3 epics a year doing these. That's not game breaking. The regular shards are the same trivial drop rates.

                    I have 11 epics (9 1*,1 2*) in around 2 years.

The huge amounts of cash dropping is probably more broken. Don't really need Hotwire any more.

An older player is going to have to eat through refills (or fp) in order to complete all 17 jobs, but newer players are going to level up repeatedly during the event (especially since there's a high energy/xp return ratio) and get free refills for leveling up. Newer players basically don't have to spend anything to do the event and get all the shard rewards.

I like the idea and I'm grateful for any opportunities to get rare/epic shards.. but something has to be changed next time because this simply isn't fair. All my minis have way more completion than my level 974 toon, for free.. without using any refills. While my level 974 with 2250 E has wasted refills. This is a major flaw. Higher levels shouldn't be being punished just for having played the game longer.
Ok, I don't agree with this at all. If you're a newer player, the spanning gap is only reachable by already spending the countless amounts of cash the higher tier has. So ultimately, the newer players are screwed.

Now, I have a lvl 560 bsi with a grand 501 energy. I've chosen to play my toon loyally and event after the scaling posted, my lvl 760 Lsi with 1950 energy STILL completed the area in few fills averaging to 1 full load of energy compared to the 2 full loads on my bsi. With that there, a higher lvl with more energy still be out my low lvl bsi thus showing that the lower lvled are still in just as much of the bigs.

Furthermore, if you want to grow the community, you have to answer to all its people, even the little guy. That meaning, an equal/ fair~challenging environment for everyone. Give it to the lower lvls to have a chance and get actively engaged in the game to find some enjoyment out of it and in-turn they continue playing, putting money into the game and providing the next big change for all to enjoy.

I agree and I'm not advocating against giving free things to new players. Why would I? This is what they should be doing. Epic crate rolls should be obtainable for everyone so everyone can have fun. But I have very valid complaints here that are not being addressed.

                        1. This is a weekly event, something that's going to be here regularly.. and ONLY the new players benefit from it unless something gets changed. My level 977 with 2300E literally cannot get a single epic shard without using refills or spending. Sorry but high levels are customers too, and we want to participate all the same. The scaling needs adjustments or else everyone including me is going 10k energy build.

                        2. This is the big one for me tbh. Heists were being hyped up as something all players could participate in fairly and equally, and this simply is not the case. This is not "equal/fair" in the slightest and this is quite evident from the numbers I and others have given. Challenging sure, maybe for my wallet. In order for heists to be fair, both low levels and high levels alike need to have identical opportunities to get identical numbers of shards and mysterious tokens.

I think the mini events are great. No need to spend. It gives you free stuff eventually. For free. If you want to spend u get stuff quicker. I recently lost my lvl 500 to 600 sniper in the empire krew due to relationship problems. Got a new toon now and its fun. New players cant compete woth old toons. In these they can. And that brings money to the company

If 2000E is the high and 200E is the low then that should be the scale. If hey want it to take 10 total refills no matter the amount of energy then that's how they need to scale it IMHO.

I think where the flaw comes in is that they based off level as well and due to the different builds its not equal.

While lower levels who go LSI out the gate will always have an advantage on energy and stamina events because the level gap is much smaller. There is no way to fix that without hurting new players. That part is no different than it has been.

It's just the design of the game to make it a more and more painful grind as you progress to bring you over to the pay side.

How do "ONLY the new players benefit" when I clearly stated that my lower lvl, lower energy toon has failed to complete this area in at least double the fills it took my my other account, which has nearly cleared the maximum threshold for the energy cap, and is at least 200 lvls down.

Let's take a step back and look at this. What happens when that lower lvl guy starts doing these events? He lvls up. He sees he can keep adding energy, or put into another stat. No matter what, the game still scales with them just like the already existing sea of high lvl toons. People are going to have to spend period. The high lvls. The low lvls. It doesn't matter.

I ignored this part cause it's your own fault for going BSI. Idk why you think your BSI toon is relevant in this situation, cause it isn't. BSI has always been known to have never scaled well for anything other than pvp and eve, and frankly it isn't even good for those anymore due to silver/gold jobs.. You don't have enough energy or stamina so you can't level up quickly enough for the event. You lost too many possible skillpoints from silver/gold jobs. Those all could've been put into energy/stam and allowed you to level up at a reasonable pace. You should've converted it to an LSI when the silver and gold jobs were released.

And no, people don't have to spend. Particularly new players. My minis are all LSI and they're all going to get 1-2 free epic crates within 3-8 months at this rate. Go make a new LSI and watch how easily you get to complete the event without even using refills.
